Bible Engagement

Part 1

Introduction

The purpose here is to encourage your spiritual growth and development as we study Romans chapter 8. Here is our foundation: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1 KJV.

Prayer

Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before your throne of Grace. We worship and adore you. God you are the only true and living God, besides you there is none other. You alone are our great and Mighty God. You are the glorious one and we bow to you in humble exultation. Our Sovereign Lord, Almighty God, we extol you Great I Am. In the name of Jesus.

Lord, we ask you to forgive us for our sins, and ways that are displeasing to you. Please forgive us for sins of omission and commission, for all disobedience known and unknown. Lord create within us a clean heart and renew the right Spirit within us in the name of Jesus. We thank you for your love and for forgiveness. We thank you for your grace and mercy. Your new mercies every day. Thank you God that we, your people, are not condemned and we bless your holy name. Thank you that “As far as the east is from the west, so far have you removed our transgressions from us”.

Holy Spirit I ask that you help and allow the content to be presented as you desire. “He must increase, but I must decrease” in the name of Jesus. Lead us and guide us into all truth, Spirit of Truth. Open your Word to us so that in all of our getting we will get the proper understanding.

Father, I speak a blessing over every person who participates and opens their heart/mind to your word; to the ones who are determined to obey you. The blessings of the Lord come upon you and overshadow you. You are blessed going in and coming out. I pray that you grow in the knowledge and application of God. I pray in the name of Jesus that you desire a more intimate relationship with God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; through Romans chapter 8. I pray that you are transformed by renewing your mind through Romans 8. In the name of Jesus, I pray that, “The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him (us), The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD” (Isaiah 11:2.) Father I pray this Bible engagement would be as if it were your feet, legs, arms, eyes, ears, a mouth and more to go and help people to live a life of continual relationship with you. To live your life in the Spirit. To live free from bondage to be a contributor to advancing the Kingdom of God here on earth.

To live a life empowered by Holy Spirit. Father I pray that in everything we do that you are glorified in the name of Jesus. Lord we do honor you, we worship, and we adore you. You are worthy of all the praise all the glory all the Honor. Hallelujah, we thank you in advance for what you are doing right now. What you have already done and for what you are yet to do. Hallelujah

We thank you for the finished work of the Cross and thank you for the greater works that you are doing in us and through us, in the mighty name of Jesus we pray. Amen

Let’s Dive In

There are times when you in engage in the Bible where you want to simply sit back relax and read. You want to read for the sake of the comfort and closeness to God that it brings. There are other times when you engage in the Bible to study to learn. Then there are times when you are led to engage in the Bible. I like to refer to these times as Holy Spirit led Bible engagement. Life in the Spirit Bible engagement study stemmed from a book the Lord gave me called Getting to know God: The Holy Spirit (Originally published Dec. 2021; currently under revision).  As I prepared that book, Romans chapter 8 continuously surfaced in a strong way; for this Bible study.

In Life in the Spirit Bible Engagement we will look at different translations of Romans 8 as a review and overview. We’ll skim the surface so to speak. Think of it as we’re going swimming. We may visit the pool, we may go to the pool at the spa or gym. We might decide to go to the beach and swim in the ocean. Or we may visit the lake and swim. For right now let’s go to an indoor pool so we can narrow things down to the shallow end or the deep end of the pool.

Studying the Bible can be similar to going swimming. The shallow water or shallow end of the pool to you might actually be the deep end to me. There is a Life Guard (Holy Spirit) at our pool. Now, if we decided to swim in the ocean we would have to consider additional elements; such as the weather, the season, the climate, the overall nature of the environment at that time.

We can attempt to be thorough however, studying God’s Word and Bible engagement can never be exhaustive because of the nature of the Word. Due to the nature of the Word and the Spirit, our life in the Word is ongoing and continuous like the air we breathe to sustain life. We can come out of the water and gasp and gasp but still can’t consume all of the air no matter how we try. We can only consume based on our current lung capacity.

Just when you think you have sort of a grasp on the Word (written in Bible); the Holy Spirit will have you to ‘look again’ or pull back the curtain to another layer, or cause you to see the same Scripture from a whole different aspect/angle/perspective. God’s Word is alive and as it is with living things there is constant evolving and understanding. The Word teaches the Word and the Lord will give us revelation of His word. As I am typing this, I keep hearing Unfolding. Our life in the Spirit is constantly unfolding.

Father, as we prepare to study Romans chapter 8, we thank you for the unfolding of your Word. We always need you Lord. We ask you to lead us in your Word and help us to obtain all that you desire to give us. Oh Father, we pray that your Word will fall on good ground in us and that it will take root and that the roots will grow deep and yield good fruit. Lord help us to share your good fruit with others who will also be nourished and strengthened.

Father we thank you for the Unfolding and pray that your perfect will is done. We are so grateful to you God that you gave us your written Word. We thank you for your great love and for preparing us with the provision of your Word in the Bible. For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly (Romans 5:6 NASB). We thank you for the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We thank you for your ascension. We thank you for instruction concerning the arrival of Holy Spirit. We thank you for the indwelling Spirit of God. Lord we sit in your classroom as students who are eager and ready to hear You unfold your word. Holy Spirit we thank you for opening the door and entering the classroom. We give you all the Glory most esteemed Teacher, as you stand before us and in us. In the name of Jesus we thank you and we honor you and we listen attentively in Jesus’ name. Amen. Unfolding. Unfolding. Unfolding.

Foundation

As we dive in let’s establish a firm solid foundation that we can stand on as we build up our most holy faith. Let’s start with this anchor: the Bible is the infallible truth the Word of God, written by men but authored by the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit. God’s Word is the Absolute truth.  By faith, we accept the Bible as the Authority. Why, because the One who created us is the same One who Authored the Bible. In the Beginning, God…….. . (Genesis 1:1).

God loves us so very much that He gives us freedom of choice. This means we have free will to choose our destiny; whether we spend eternal life with God by following Jesus Christ. Or whether we choose to disregard God and choose a destiny of eternal damnation by rejecting Jesus as our Lord and Savior. So, we can choose our own course; and the consequences that follow. Every choice has a consequence(s), so we want to choose wisely. Making good decisions that yield good consequences. God loves us so much that He has given Himself as our Helper: Holy Spirit. I like to think of the Bible as God’s love story to us and his instructions for living the victorious life he created us to live.

First Things First—Jesus

This bible study is an exhortation to live your life in the Spirit. To develop a deeper more personal and intimate relationship with God through the power of Holy Spirit. First things first, you must be born again.

Your Salvation is the most critically important decision you can ever make. There is no decision in life more important. If you are not saved, if you have not accepted God’s free gift of salvation, please get saved today. Right now. God loves you so very much and he does not want you to perish. Allow God to love you like He desires.

Becoming ‘Born Again’ means that you accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. You receive Jesus by faith. Being born again is an act of God and It is spiritual! Ask Jesus to come into your heart.

You are born again the moment you believe that Jesus died for your sin, and was buried, and rose again; when you say with your mouth and really believe the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, in your heart you are saved.

This is called a prayer of salvation: Say it out loud: “Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins and surrender my life. Wash me clean. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. That he died on the cross for my sins and rose again on the third day, I believe that in my heart and make confession with my mouth, that Jesus is my Savior and Lord.

You are adopted into the family of God and you are now a citizen of the Kingdom of God. You have eternal life with God. You will never be separated from God.

If you want more information, keep reading. Then make your decision.

People who choose to reject Jesus as Lord and Savior cannot spend eternity with Him but will spend eternity in hell with the Satan, the devil and his demons forever in the lake of fire. When we die we all will have everlasting life. The question is where will you live. Death is the death of our physical bodies. God loves you so much he gives you the choice, called free will.

Imagine the hand of God outstretched toward you, giving you a most valuable beautiful precious Gift (Jesus). What would you do? Would you accept the Gift (Jesus) and say Thank You? Or would you stand there with a nasty attitude looking at God’s hand stretched out to you and refuse the Gift?

Please read these Scriptures and think about each one. Take your time. After you have read and while you are reading them, I want you to think about the most important question you will ever have to answer. It’s not complicated it’s spiritual. You do not need to have all the answers or understand the entire Bible. You need to answer the Question: Yes or No?

Refusing to answer means no!

Receive Jesus today, Yes!

Rejoice in your Salvation!

Read and meditate on these:

John 3:16 & 17

Romans 3:23

Romans 6:23

Ephesians 2:8-9

Romans 10:9-10

Romans 10:17

2 Corinthians 5:17

Read John 3:1-21

Now that you have thought about it. You may be feeling something different, I call it the Love of God. It’s spiritual.

Question: Do you accept the gift of Salvation through Jesus Christ? Yes

Hallelujah. There is a party going on in the heavenlies celebrating You. “In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” Luke 15:10 NIV

First thing first-Jesus, has me all excited. I’m rejoicing over you with the angels. Thank you Jesus, we give you all the glory, all the praise, and all the honor. Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah.

On One Accord

In this Romans chapter 8 Bible study I want to emphasize, Alignment. Alignment meaning a particular posture, stance, and position. Our goal is Alignment. We align ourselves in agreement with the Bible. Think of alignment as lining up in unison as one. Picture a middle school team, lining up to begin the game. Yeah, they may not look aligned the same way as a trained and skilled military unit. However, they are still aligned. They arrive and began to line up; as one team.

Different members, different skills, different personalities, different attitudes and abilities, different backgrounds; different people but all aligned, in Agreement and ready to be active team members. Alignment.

Think of alignment as a coming together in agreement with the words in Romans 8. We Align our thoughts, words and our actions.  I’m searching for a definition that describes what I want to portray. We agree with Romans 8:1-39—we come in alignment/agreement with it. We partner; we connect; we accept, we embrace it, we align ourselves.

Cambridge Dictionary (dictionary.cambridge.org) says this about alignment:

  • An arrangement in which two or more things are positioned in a straight line or parallel to each other
  • If two things or people are in alignment, they are the same as or similar to each other, or agree with each other. If they are out of alignment, they disagree

Dictionary.com says this about alignment:

  • a state of agreement or cooperation among persons, groups, nations, etc., with a common cause or viewpoint.

On team Alignment we are all on the same page. We all agree with the Team goal. We align with Romans 8, we agree, to accept, and we apply. Alignment is how we position ourselves. Our posture is in Alignment with God’s Word. We align, we come together, we agree, we position ourselves with, we are together on one accord, unified, united, a team, connected by our common posture. We are a team and our goal is to be ‘Doers’ of this word.

We are united with Romans 8; we connect ourselves and receive this word with gladness in our heart. The thing about life in the Spirit is that when the Holy Spirit leads, we may not always understand and make the connection; however we align in obedience. We align with the Word and with each other as members of the same team. You might be a leg I might be an arm but you are members of the same body; unified. We function, fit, fight, flourish and move together in alignment.

This just reminded me of a concept in nursing school called symmetry. When we are assessing a patient from head to toe we are looking for symmetry; alignment. Symmetry is good. Asymmetry (not matching up, would be considered an abnormal finding). If the brain is telling the left leg and arm to head north; while the brain is telling the right leg and arm head south quickly; the brain is out of alignment and we have problems. We want to align in symmetry. There is a sweet flow when we are on one accord; in alignment. Both in our individual lives and as a team.

Psalm 133: Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! 2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; 3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore. KJV

General Overview: The Book of Romans

Paul is the author. Written to the Christians in Rome and believers everywhere. The purpose is to introduce Paul to the Romans and to give a sample of his message before he arrives in Rome. It was written about A.D.57, from Corinth, as Paul was preparing for his visit to Jerusalem.

Setting: Apparently Paul had finished his work in the east, and he planned to visit Rome on his way to Spain after first bringing a collection to Jerusalem for the poor Christians there (15:23-28). The Roman church was mostly Jewish but also contained a great number of Gentiles.

Key Verse: “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” 5:1.

Key People: Paul, Phebe; Key Place: Rome; Special features: Paul wrote Romans as an organized and carefully presented statement of his faith-it does not have the form of a typical letter. He does, however, spend considerable time greeting people in Rome at the end of the letter.

The Blueprint:

  1. What to Believe. Paul clearly sets forth the foundations of the Christian faith. All people are sinful; Christ died to forgive sin; we are made right with God through faith; this begins a new life with a new relationship with God. Like a sports team that constantly reviews he basics, we will be greatly helped in our faith by keeping close to these foundations. If we study Romans carefully, we will never be at a loss to know what to believe.
  2. How to Behave. Paul gives clear, practical guidelines for the believers in Rome. The Christian life is not abstract theology unconnected with life, but it has practical implications that will affect how we choose to behave each day. It is not enough merely to know the Gospel; we must let it transform our lives and let God impact every aspect of our lives.

Mega themes:

Sin:

  • Sin means refusing to do God’s will and failing to do all that God wants. Since Adam’s rebellion against God, our nature is to disobey him. Our sin cuts us off from God. Sin causes us to want to live our own way rather than God’s way. Because God is morally perfect, just, and fair, he is right to condemn sin.
  • Each person has sinned, either by rebelling against God or by ignoring his will. No matter what our background or how hard we try to live good and moral lives, we cannot earn salvation or remove our sin. Only Christ an save us.

Salvation:

  • Our sin points out our need to be forgiven and cleansed. Although we don’t deserve it, God, in his kindness, reached out to love and forgive us. He provides the way for us to be saved. Christ’s death paid the penalty for our sin.
  • It is good news that God saves us from our sin. But in order to enter into a wonderful new relation with God, we must believe that Jesus died for us and that he forgives all our sin.

Growth:

  • By God’s power, believers are sanctified- made holy. This means we are set apart from sin, enabled to obey and to become more like Christ. When we are growing in our relationship with
Christ, the Holy Spirit frees us from the demands of the Law from fear of judgment.
  • Because we are free from sin’s control, the Law’s demands, and fear of God’s punishment, we can grow in our relationship with Christ. By trusting in the Holy Spirit and allowing him to help us, we can overcome sin and temptation.

Sovereignty:

  • God oversees and cares about his people, past, present, and future. God’s ways of dealing with people are always fair. Because God is in charge of all creation, he can save whomever he wills.
  • Because of God’s mercy, both Jews and Gentiles can be saved. We all must respond to his mercy and accept his gracious offer of forgiveness. Because he is sovereign, let him reign in your heart.

Service:

  • When our purpose is to give credit to God for his love, power, and perfection in all we do, we can serve him properly. Serving him unifies all believers and enables them to show love and sensitivity to others.
  • None of us can be fully Christlike by our selves—it takes the entire body of Christ to fully express Christ. By actively ad vigorously building up other believers, Christians can be a symphony of service to God.

The entire section stated here, under General Overview: ‘Book of Romans’, is taken directly from the Tyndale, Life Application Study Bible, King James Version. It serves as a general overview of Romans.

I want to look at different versions/translations/paraphrase of Romans chapter 8 throughout. Disclaimer: I am not an expert, scholar, experienced, or learned in this area, etc.  I am simply a girl who was led by the Holy Spirit to look at Romans chapter 8 and to share my look with you. The Bible teaches the Bible, … line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little, there a little Isaiah 28:13 KJV.

Romans 8: 1-39 King James Version

The Holy Spirit frees us from sin

1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.

13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

The future glory

18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,

21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?

25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

Nothing can separate us from God’s love

31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth.

34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Have you ever tasted food that was so very good. Tastes delicious and you want more. You have to slow down and chew on it; enjoy the flavor. The taste lingers and you smell the aroma. It looks good, smells good, taste so good. It even feels good thinking about it. It’s just all around good. Romans chapter 8. Recall in the beginning when I said, we will skim the surface. I’ll point out some things but I encourage you to take note of what Holy Spirit is revealing to you.

Also I plan to embed Audio/video from a year or two or so ago of reading Romans 8. This is a long overdue project the Lord gave me. I have repented for responding on my time and not Holy Spirit time. So please bear with me as we attempt to unfold. I have not idea of how the layout of this teaching will be. We’re going to let Holy Spirit direct us. Amen.

I’m aware that I’m all over the place with pronouns: me, I, we, us, our, he, you, etc. pray for me I’m a work in process. Please excuse me and work with me. Thank you kindly.

1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

The phrase, “There is therefore”…..indicates there was a previous conversation and this is a continuation of that conversation.  In Chapter 7 we see that we are no longer bound by the law and there is  a struggle within. Verse 19, For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. (Read ch. 7). “This inward struggle with sin was as real for Paul as it is for us. Whenever he felt lost, he would return to the beginning of his spiritual life, remembering that he had already been freed by Jesus Christ.” (See note 7:23-25 Tyndale Life Application Study Bible KJV).

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Being in Christ Jesus, we are not condemned. Although we desire to only do good, only do what is right however as Paul describes in 7:21 “I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. Paul is referring to the ‘flesh’ meaning the principle and power of sin; not our physical bodies but the sinful nature of humanity.

Condemnation-

  • guilty, punishment, unfavorable judgment, you are wrong, bad, accused, reprimanded, evil, reprehensible, strong disapproval
  • Condemnation carries a negative connotation

We have to remind ourselves of Ephesians 2:8-9–For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Freedom—years ago Black people were enslaved, in bondage, sentenced to slavery; however one day Freedom came. Some immediately took advantage of their new found freedom while others didn’t get the memo for years and years that they were Free. Can you imagine being ignorant (not knowing) that you are totally free.

Note 8:1 “Not guilty, let him go free. What would those words mean to you if you were on death row for a crime. Actually the whole human race is on death row, condemned for repeatedly breaking God’s holy Law. (For the wages, penalty, of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord Romans 6:23). Without Jesus we would have no hope at all. He has declared us not guilty and has offered us freedom from sin and power to do his will.

This does not mean that we go around doing wrong, with no accountability or remorse. It does mean that we are always aware that Jesus paid the penalty with his shed Blood on the cross. We have the ability and the right to ask for and receive forgiveness; we can repent change our thinking and align with what God’s says.

I could stay right here all day, Freedom. Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty. 2 Cor. 3:17:

  • Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. NKJV
  • For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. NLT
  • Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (emancipation from bondage, freedom). AMPC

I feel like I could write an entire book on vs. 1; there is a pour here, an unfolding. It reminds me of the love of God. For God is love. Let’s apply this same principle to people who have hurt, betrayed, and disappointed—Release the slaves and let them go free. They are not condemned in the name of Jesus. Release them from your heart. Let them go! Let the bitterness and unforgiveness go. Set people free from your condemnation. Release them from your bondage just as God has released us and set us free.

God’s love for us is so extravagant and luxurious. There is such an overflow that you need to share it. God is no respecter of persons, like he forgives and declares that we are not condemned. He wants us to forgive others and declare them free.

It’s like you know that you are guilty. You committed the crime and you know you did, but your very Best Friend is the judge over the case. You enter the court room with everyone looking at you with disgust, shaking their heads, murmuring. You feel belittled, less than, unworthy, guilty. They call your name, everyone knows you are guilty. You did the crime. You stand up with hand cuffs on and chains around your feet. The judge, with gavel in hand, says loudly—“NOT GUILTY” and you hear the sound of the gavel strike. Set her Free; they remove the hand cuffs and the chains. This is what Jesus has done for us. Now let’s extend this grace to others. The love of God.

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. 1 John 4:7-13.

Therefore, [there is] now no condemnation (no adjudging guilty of wrong) for those who are in Christ Jesus, who live [and] walk not after the dictates of the flesh, but after the dictates of the Spirit. Rom. 8:1 AMPC

Let’s pause and put a praise on this. To be continued………………..Selah!
